Paul began his martial arts training aged 4 with Shotokan Karate, gaining his 1st dan Black belt. Since then, Paul has continued to seek out some of the best Instructors to further his experience. Training in Xingyiquan, Southern Shaolin kung fu, wu shu, and other styles of Southern Kung fu.
It was through his Kung fu training that he was initially introduced to Yang style Taiji and practised this for over 8 years.
After a short break he found Chen style taijiquan which increased his love of the Internal arts.
Now aged 36, Paul currently trains with Lee Davis-Conchie, David Gaffney and Davidine Siaw-Voon Sim of Chenjiagou taijiquanGB. He has continued his training with Chen Xiaowang, Chen Ziqiang and Chen Xiaoxing during CTGB seminars/workshops, including hand and weapon forms.
He is also a qualified Reiki healer under the Usui Reiki system & also uses & practices the "Sword Fingers" External Qigong healing System.
Paul currently has classes in the following areas:
Preesall, Poulton, Great Eccleston, Hambleton, Blackpool, Parbold, Southport & Wigan.
Paul is registered and insured with the Tai chi union for great Britain as a Full instructor.

Formerly based in the United States, Lee's journey in Chinese martial arts began in 1995 in California where he trained in the Sil Lum Bak Pai system. His external martial arts training continued when he moved to Denver, Colorado where he studied Shaolin Gongfu. In 1998 Lee began his training in the internal martial arts, first in Xingyi and then Yang Style Taijiquan. Lee returned to the United Kingdom in 2004 and studied Chen Style Taijiquan with Wang Haijun and since 2007 with David and Davidine. He teaches in the Flyde Coast area.
Lee holds a 2nd Duan Grade with the Chinese Wushu Association.
